“quiltid.com” exists to help it’s users document, share and explore the various sources of their “identity” on the web. Any identity “claims” that you make on our site are by definition intended to be public claims, and are automatically shared on your “quilt” page at “http://<userid>.quiltid.com” where “userid” is the ID you choose when signing up for our site. You will also be offered code (HTML, Javascript, etc.) which you can use to embed your quilt on web pages that you have some control over. This is, again, intended to be public information, and in general is already public information that you are simply consolidating here. The information being added on this site is your “Claim” of URLs - a Public assertion that the person referred to at those URLs (generally but not necessarily by name) is “You”.
We may collect other personal information, including email addresses, when individuals register to use Watts Lab, Inc. websites and services. We may also, at times, collect our users' IP addresses and information regarding our users' use of our website and services or through the access of embedded quilts. We may use such IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our servers, track movement within our website and, if necessary, deny service in accordance with our Terms of Service. We may also collect information related to the referring URL, access times and browser type. Unless required by law, we will not share our users' personal information, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and usage information, except with their consent or in aggregate or anonymous form, with third parties.
In order to offer and provide optimized and personalized services, we use cookies to store and sometimes track information about our users. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to a user's browser from a web server and is eventually stored on a user's computer hard drive.
You must be 13 years and older to register to use the Watts Lab, Inc. website. Watts Lab, Inc. does not currently collect any age-related information.
