What's OpenID?

Instead of asking you to remember yet another username and password, OpenID lets you sign in using an identifier that already belongs to you — the URL of your homepage or other online profiles.

How does it work?

The first step is to tell us your OpenID. More sites support OpenID everyday and some major services that you probably use are already on board:

The official site keeps an updated list of OpenID providers.

After you hit the Sign in button, you'll be redirected to your OpenID provider. Once there, follow the instructions and you'll be redirected back here to get started. It sounds a little complicated at first, but once you have the hang of OpenID you'll find it saving you time and effort all over the web.
